The Alliance of BRICS Folk Dance Culture
The launch of the Alliance is on the agenda of the summit of culture ministers from BRICS member states in Kazan (Russia) in June 2024 when Russia becomes the Chair of the Alliance.

The Alliance of BRICS Folk Dance Culture is established to become the effective tool to promote international cultural and educational projects aimed to acquaint audiences from member states with each other’s dance culture.





The innovative aspect of the Alliance’s activities involves the development of this acquaintance into cross-study, preservation, popularization and mutual promotion of folk dance culture in friendly countries with the aim to unite peoples on the grounds of human values, to establish mutual liking, understanding and loyalty between them.

The first stage of the Alliance’s activities involves the project The Global Dance Overture.

  • Educational projects aimed at cross-studying dance culture of friendly countries and its popularization in member statesе

  • A festival of folk dance culture of the BRICS countries

  • Joint round tables to share experience in creating popular folk dance projects and popularizing folk dance culture

  • Online conferences, lessons and master classes
